The booking knows the lead
An appointment lands on the contact's timeline beside their messages, calls and deal stage, so whoever takes the meeting has the context in one view.
Calendly made scheduling links a habit for sales teams and consultants, with polished routing and automatic video links. SaaSVisionary offers similar event types, but every booking is an appointment on a CRM contact that can trigger reminders, pipeline moves and no-show follow-up.
The short answer
Calendly suits teams who want every invite to come with a video meeting link created for them, who qualify prospects through elaborate routing forms, or who need a scheduler that bolts onto an enterprise CRM. If you would rather keep bookings, reminders, payment and follow-up in the system that already holds your leads, and not pay per host, SaaSVisionary is worth a close look.

Why teams switch
An appointment lands on the contact's timeline beside their messages, calls and deal stage, so whoever takes the meeting has the context in one view.
Nobody has to remember to chase a missed meeting. Bookings, reschedules, cancellations and no-shows can each start their own workflow, so an empty chair can automatically produce a call task for the rep, a text offering a new time and a step back in the pipeline.
Paid sessions stay pending while the client checks out. The slot is only confirmed once your Stripe account's payment has been verified server-side, never on the say-so of the browser.
Team members get their own hosts, event types and booking pages without a scheduling licence per person, so adding staff doesn't add scheduling fees.
List your active event types and recreate each one in SaaSVisionary with the same durations, buffers and availability. Confirm the calendar sync and meeting-link setup your hosts need, so existing commitments block time. Swap your booking links in email signatures, websites and ad campaigns one at a time, and let already-scheduled Calendly meetings finish naturally. Add a reminder and no-show workflow before the first new booking arrives.

If bookings are the first step of a sales or service process, yes. You can set up individual, group, collective and rotating round-robin events, each with availability schedules, buffers, date overrides and reminders. Where Calendly still leads is in creating Zoom or Teams links for you automatically and in its built-in routing forms.
Yes. When an event type has a price, the new appointment is held as pending while the client pays through your own Stripe account. It moves to confirmed only after the payment is checked server-side, so a slot is never counted as booked until the money has actually cleared.
The appointment appears on the contact's timeline and can start automations. Common setups send confirmation and reminder texts, notify the assigned host, move the deal to a new stage and, if the person does not show, trigger a re-booking message.
Reminders themselves are included in the plan. The texts and emails are sent through the Twilio and Mailgun accounts you connect, and those providers bill you for what goes out at their usual prices. SMS reminders need a plan with texting, which means Pro or above.
